Skartvedt Ram For Sale

Touchdown 2411 registration number 688428.

This two year-old ram was the Champion slick sheared ram at the Iowa state fair as a yearling. He is very big bone and has plenty of muscle to go on any type of view. He’s out of Everts 2011 that goes back to a Batt breeding and Kimm and Slack.

On the damn side goes back to Skartvedt 4722 Cy and Big Z a Bar-Zel ram that has Andrus bloodlines.

For Sale:   Registered Suffolk Ewe Lambs and Ram Lambs for sale.  Feb/March 2026 lamb crop containing MacCauley and Kimm background.  Lambs sired by Kimm K17024-2419 ram out of Van Dyke lineage.  Our sheep are large frame and well muscled with good conformation.  Lambs will be ready for pickup the first week of June.  We have 30+ of each unspoken for.

Virtual Cooking Contest

UJSSA’s Suffolk Lamb Culinary Competition: “Uncle Sam Lamb Slam”

Entry Deadline: October 15, 2026Open to current UJSSA members ages 11-21.

As United States celebrates its 250th birthday, celebrate by cooking and promoting proudly raised American Lamb!

Eligible UJSSA members will design a main course entry to promote Suffolk lamb on a restaurant menu. Entrants will create the recipe, explain its origin and demonstrate step-by-step how to make it. Entrant is responsible for their own costs to prepare the lamb and for supplying any equipment to make it.

Rules:

Each entry must take 30 minutes or less to fully cook.
