It’s not too early to start thinking about USSA Director Elections!

There will be a director opening in all four USSA districts. If you or a USSA member you know would like to be a candidate for the upcoming USSA Directors elections, here’s a brief overview of your next steps:

Submit a letter of intent declaring that you are willing to be a candidate for the 2019 USSA Board of Directors Election. Letters of intent are due in the USSA Office by August 1, 2018. The letter must be faxed, emailed or mailed to the USSA Office, PO Box 121, Holland, IA 50642. Letters of intent submitted through mail must be postmarked by the deadline date. Phone calls are not acceptable.
Within one week of the deadline, candidates must submit a brief personal bio as well as a photo to the USSA Office. The personal bio should be approximately one-half of an [ … ]

UJSSA members interested in serving the Junior Association for a two-year term as a volunteer director must apply for the position by completing a Director Application. Juniors who have not served as a UJSSA Director must apply for to be a UJSSA Director Intern, a one year term, before being eligible to be a Director. Applications are reviewed by the UJSSA Coordinators and qualified applicants will interview at the Junior Show.  All applicants will be notified whether or not they will be selected for the interview process.  Candidates shall not have reached their 22nd birthday prior to January 1st of the year in which they finish their final term.  Those elected in 2018 begin serving as directors effective with the July 8, 2018 UJSSA Annual Meeting.
